There are a lot of opinions on the merger, including anti-trust takes and if this is good for the industry. I tend to lean that Activision was trying to sell with all its controversy going on. Who would you want to buy them Microsoft, Tencent, or someone else? In the near future, if you are an Xbox game pass subscriber you will be getting a ton of value. Time will tell all of this. If I was a betting man the transaction goes through, with Microsoft on the DOJ’s radar for antitrust.
