Morning routines are important because this is how you set the day. This is what I currently do. It gets adjusted as I add things or depending on the situation.
- Warm Shower first – I get a lot of thoughts and ideas. I typically visualize the future there.
- Meditate – 10-20 minutes.
- 5-minute journal
- Read the Daily Stoic
- Read/podcast that provides learning if I have a commute
- If there is no need to travel, I typically write or walk
I am not perfect with this routine. I miss certain portions, depending on what I am doing. This is typically my baseline of what I try to do. If something feels stale, I change up the order and add new items and sees what sticks. Never think that you have to copy exactly what someone’s routine is. You should find what works for you. Some people can wake up at 5 am. Some people prefer to wake up at 7. It would help if you listened to your body’s natural body clock.
