The art of radical acceptance is accepting oneself fully. Not just the parts we like, but also including the shadow side. We think similar to how the Buddhists were in the ancient ways. Take a moment to see when we are emotionally reacting to a situation. Remember that it is okay to have whatever reaction, whether it’s fear, anger, disappointment, etc. In our western society, we work sometimes to suppress those feelings, when they are part of the normal human experience.
